  • Do you accept insurance?

No, insurance is not accepted at this time.  Services rendered will be charged to the client and not to any third-party payer. Endeavour Counseling will not file with your insurance, and assume no responsibility for meeting the qualification for insurance reimbursement.  The client is soley responsible for payment of services.

The focus at Endeavour Counseling is on upholding and portecting client's right to privacy.  Some clients may not be aware of the implications with using medical insurace to pay for mental health services.  In order to use insurace a diagnosis must be provided to the company that  becomes a perminant part of your medical record.   Additionally, insurance companies can impose influence on the types of treatment and duration of counseling services.  Every client should have the right to decide these factors for themselves.

  • How much do sessions cost?

Sessions are $140 per 50 minute session. This includes the time your counselor will use between session for assessment, consultation, research, and documentation.  Longer sessions are availble upon request. The rate for a  90 minute sessoion is $210, and the rate for a 2 hour is $280.

  • Do you work with children?

No, not at this time.  Please also be aware that we do not work with child custody disputes.

  • Do you have late evening or weekend appointments?

Yes. Life has most people juggling responsiblities with work, family, and other obligations. We offer options for evening and weekend hours.

  • How does counseling work?

Typically a counselor meets with clients once a week for a 50-minute session. Together, we set goals for what you want to accomplish in treatment and the desired time-frame for treatment. Similar to personal training or music lessons, we will work with you and give you tools to succeed. You will need to practice these skills between our sessions together, if you want to see optimal results.

  • How many sessions will it take?

Every person is unique with thier own varying degrees of distress and motivation, this is a difficult question to answer. Some people only need short term assistance to achieve their desired goals.  Other indiviudals seeking deeper change and growth may choose to attend much longer.

  • Can I speak with the counselor on the phone before scheduling an appointment.

Absoulutly, a phone consultation is free and a good way to get answers to your questions that are not found in the FAQ section.  We can also assess whether Endeavour Counseling is the best resource for your specific needs.

  • Do I really need counseling? I can usually handle my problems.

To be human means that we all face difficult circumstances at different times throughout our lives.  Counseling  is not an indication of a deficit or a weakness, it is an opportunity to find support and resources.  Taking care of yourself is an important basic need of every person.  Just because you reach out for help with something specific does not undermine or deminish your ability to take care of yourself.

  • Should I go to couples counseling alone if my partner will not attend with me?

Relationships have the potential to transform even when only one person is willing to work on themselves. Often, this motivates the other partner to want the same changes for themselves.  If your partner is firm about not attending, then yes, consider the benefits of professional support and counseling for yourself.

  • Do I need to be a client in individual counseling to join a group?

Absolutely not. Groups are organized and designed to offer support, healing and hope to all that participate...client or not!  If you are interested in particiapting in a group please email us to find out more information.

Fees are charged at the beginning of each month and cover all of the weekly meetings, which are 60 or 90 minutes long each week.
